January 12-13th Monster Jam is making its way to San Antonio. Get the kids some earplugs and enjoy a night of races, tricks, fireworks, and stadium food. My kids love going with their dad every year. Be sure to grab your tickets before you go.
Get Out. Nature Trails.
January 12th is the Government Canyon Hike the Canyon event. Join the Friends of Government Canyon and the Sierra Club for a jointly-led guided hike. The hike will range from 4 to 7 miles on one of the many trails at Government Canyon State Natural Area. No Registration needed, but entry fees to the park still apply.
Get your New Year’s resolution off to a great start. Check out the Love Run 5K on January 26th. The Love Run 5K is a family-friendly event that provides a fun way to bring the community together while supporting poverty relief efforts in our city and all over the world. The race starts at 8 am and is located at 9431 Bandera Road. The registration fee goes up January 5th. Make sure you register before then.

Clean Out Your Closet
New year, new you! Take some time this January to round up things you haven’t worn or used in over a year and donate to those in need.
Is there an event coming up that you would love for people to know about? Let me know. We are always looking for new places to explore.
