These cookies have a deep chocolate flavor, pleasantly (but not overly) sweet, soft texture but not too gooey, perfect height(not flat) and just downright irresistible! It will quickly become one of your favorite recipes.

DOUBLE CHOCOLATE COOKIE INSTRUCTIONS
Preheat oven to 350 degrees and line a baking pan with parchment paper or a non-stick baking mat.
In a bowl, cream butter and sugars together; beat in the eggs and vanilla until light and fluffy.
Combine flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt; stir into butter mixture until well blended. Mix in chocolate chips.
Drop by rounded teaspoons onto a baking pan.
Bake for 8-10 minutes. Every oven is different so it may take longer or shorter. I suggest starting at 8 minutes and then watch them from there. Just be careful not to over bake them.
Remove from the oven and let cool slightly on a baking sheet. Then move to the cookie sheet to cool completely. Cookies will flatten a little as they cool.
