“I come from a family where gravy is considered a beverage.” -Erma Bombeck

Have pie crust from the Pineapple pie that didn’t make it into the pie? Oh no! It is sad. Don’t let it be sad, make it into a Sad Pie. This is a recipe my Dad came up with. The loved making sad pie with the extra pie crust. It turns out great.

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Roll pie dough into any shape you’d like. It doesn’t matter. Place on a baking sheet. Spread a little butter on top and sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar. Cut into shapes with a pastry wheel. Bake in the oven for 10 to 15 minutes or until done. You can add a little bit of extra butter when it is done. Cut it up and enjoy!.
