“…life is like a box of chocolates. You never know what you’re gonna get. “ Forrest Gump
Before Snippykit Boutique came along, I was a young mom with 2 kids (aged 5 and 3) at home. The kids and I spent our days exploring, spending time together, and napping which happens to be my favorite activity. At the time I didn’t really consider running a business from home, because my time was devoted to my family and home. When the opportunity came to start a business, my adventurous side took over and off we went. That is when Snippykit was born.
Snippykit started with 2 friends shopping together and selling clothes to our friends in a Facebook group. We ran it by the seat of our pants, not knowing what the future had in store.
After a couple of years, Snippykit changed course and became a one man show. The vision of just selling to friends changed into an online boutique that helps women look and feel great with affordable, comfortable clothing. Along with that change in direction came a “Mommy and Me Collection” to match your mini bestie.
The joy of running the boutique was satisfied customers and smiling faces. This journey blessed me with the opportunity to meet amazing people who have become friends, meet new entrepreneurs, be featured in magazines, and star on SA Live (if you’d like an autograph, just let me know).
The time has come again for Snippykit to change its course. It’s time to inspire women and mothers through thoughts and ideas to reach their dreams, start their own business, and find joy living in the moment. Snippykit has been my main focus for many years. I’m excited for the potential of what it can still become.
Please join me on this new journey. I share things I wish I would have known when getting started running an online business; tips on finding balance between motherhood and your brand; reminders of living in the moment; affordable family travel, family destinations, and much more.
So pull up a chair, subscribe, and stick around with me. As always, I love to hear your comments, thoughts, and ideas. Have something you want to discuss? Tell me. Together, we’ll continue to find joy in our journey.
